In other news, on Dec. 7th, Coordinator of Public Relations for the National Forensic League, Jenny Corum Billman, announced that Mesquite High School has been granted charter membership in the National Forensic League (NFL). Charter membership is the highest level in the NFL and reflects sustained commitment to speech and debate education over several years. The Mesquite High S&D Varsity members are to be accredited for this success! Usually it takes a team 3 years to earn this status and we did it in a year and a half! Congrats to you all!

Now it is time for a few weeks of break before we compete in many more tournaments come January & February!

Have a wonderful holiday!
